Trump Calls People Who Executed Manchester Attack

President Trump said the USA stood in "absolute solidarity" with the United Kingdom and slammed the "evil losers" behind Monday night's apparent terrorist attack in Manchester, England.

"I would like to begin by offering my prayers to the people of Manchester and the United Kingdom", Trump said as he started a press conference with Mahmoud Abbas, head of the Palestinian Authority.

Speaking later alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Trump struck a more somber tone, offering his condolences to the victims and their families. "We stand in absolute solidarity with the people of the United Kingdom, so many young handsome innocent people enjoying and living their murdered by evil losers". " I will call them losers from now on - because that is what they are - losers", he said.

He said that although he feels they much worse than that, President Trump said "I won't call them monsters because that's exactly what they want". They would think that a great name.

The White House said Trump, who called May from Jerusalem, offered USA assistance in the investigation of the attack at a packed pop concert in Manchester.

At least 22 people were killed as they exited a concert by the American pop star Ariana Grande at Manchester Arena. They're losers. And we'll have more of them.

Abbas also expressed his "warm condolences" to the victims of the attack and to the British people.

"Our society can have no tolerance for this continuation of bloodshed". The explosion killed 22 people and injured 59, according to Greater Manchester police. "This wicked ideology must be obliterated, and I mean completely obliterated". The terrorists and extremists, and those who give them aid and comfort, must be driven out of our society forever.

The White House announced that Trump had been in contact with British Prime Minister Theresa May, and that "the two leaders agreed that this attack - which targeted teenage children and their friends at a joyous event - was particularly wanton and depraved". He added that residents should expect to see more armed officers on the streets. "We believe the attacker was carrying an improvised explosive device, which he detonated, causing this atrocity", he said.
