Foo Fighters surprise release 'Run' after 2015

Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl was most recently spotted at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, where he paid his respects at the funeral for fellow rock legend Chris Cornell.

U.S. rock stars Foo Fighters have surprised fans with the release of their first new music since 2015.

The video for Run goes back to Foo Fighter's video-golden-age, with the band members highly-clad in make-up, as they all dress as old men, inciting a nursing home riot.

Foo Fighters have returned, and they're up to their old tricks-emphasis on old.

Does this new track have you excited about the Foos' next album?

"Run" is the Foo Fighters' first release since they shared a skit dispelling rumors the band was breaking up following Grohl's solo performances at the Grammys and Academy Awards in 2016.

Last year, drummer Taylor Hawkins told NME: "We will make a new record at some point".

Unsurprisingly there's new music in store as well, as the band has teased new tracks like "Keep Your Pretty Promise To Yourself" and "The Sky Is A Neighborhood" at some random gigs.

They'll play the NY date this July.
