Hidden Agenda: new game from the makers of Until Dawn announced

At the ongoing E3 2017 in Los Angeles, California, Sony announced some of its most anticipated games for PlayStation for the year including God of War, Spider-Man and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, to name a few.

The PlayLink games are played on the PS4 console and controlled using an iPhone or Android smartphone instead of the DualShock controller. This batch of titles is made to be played with friends or enemies, and for Hidden Agenda (which can be played solo), each player will have a secret goal unknown to other players. The game puts players in control of a police detective and a district attourney who are investigating a series of crimes that have been commited in the city.

PlayLink is a new service that connects your mobile phones to PlayStation games. Hidden Agenda is based on the new PlayLink initiative that involves videogames that uses the players smartphone or tablets as a controler to promote cooperative play. "No matter which title you choose from our PlayLink collection, it's guaranteed to be a slick pick-up-and-play experience". All of these new games are meant to be played in groups - some can have up to eight players.

Sony hasn't yet announced when the first of these PlayLink games will land, or anything about device compatibility, but we'll let you know when we have more. Other titles include Knowledge is Power from the trivia category, Frantics (arcade), and SingStar Celebration (singing).

In Hidden Agenda, there's a serial killer on the loose and murdering people. The launch trailer shows a group of four friends using their phones to make group decisions - like sticking together or going separately, when entering a new area - and at other times one person is forced to make a choice.
