Kylie Jenner: 'Make-up is my life'

Kylie Jenner: 'Make-up is my life'

"Kylie is hardworking, creative, focused and she has the most unbelievable work ethic of anybody I'd ever met in my life and she really considers this her true passion, but an honour and a huge responsibility".

Her brand stretches across pop culture, beauty, television, and even top sporting names like Puma.

Kylie's party also featured cake with a silly image of her face on it, a chocolate fountain, balloons that spelled out "Kylie", and most notably, a very curvy ice sculpture (below).

Kylie initially launched her signature Lip Kits in November 2015 with three shades, officially naming her company Kylie Cosmetics in February 2016.

Kylie Jenner turns 20-years-old today, and the makeup mogul marked the occasion by treating her Instagram followers to some sexy bikini selfies. For comparison, WWD cites Tom Ford Beauty, which boasted $500 million in sales over a ten year period, with Lancôme taking eighty years to reach a billion dollars. Not to mention, since its official launch 18 months ago, it has earned $420 million dollars in retail sales.

At this stage, Kylie's cosmetics line includes highlighter/blush, eyeshadows and, of course, her iconic "lip kits". The eldest daughter, 36-year-old has recently launched her own brand, KKW BEAUTY, walking in the footsteps of his little sister.

Kylie's network is reportedly around the $50 million mark so she is already halfway there.

"I want to keep building it and just show people what I can do on my own", she said.

"In the beginning I thought my brand had to be consistent and everything (had to) look the same and that was stressing me out", Kylie said. She points out that older sister Kendall Jenner, along with friends Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin, make millennial celebrity look effortless.

She told WWD: "I don't know how we're going to do it".

The raven-haired socialite added: "I just feel like this fame thing is going to come to an end sooner than we think".
