Overwatch Rocks the Beach with Summer Games 2017 Trailer and Skins Reveal

The Summer Games event comes with a total of 50 new items, so players hoping to get everything will want to hurry.

Deeper into the sports side for the new Overwatch legendary skins are Reaper with the Biker legendary skin, which decks him out in orange-and-black protective gear worn by BMX riders; Junkrat with the Cricket legendary skin, which envisions him as an Australian cricket player; and Mercy with the Winged Victory legendary skin, inspired by the Nike, the goddess of victory, and carrying an Olympic torch.

The event kicked off on August 8 with an awesome reveal trailer showcasing all of the game's new items, as well as the return of Lucioball.

Overwatch's second year of Summer Games is underway, bringing back 3v3 Lúcioball in a new Sydney arena, with leaderboards and competitive play. These new skins flaunt more attractive hues and designs as well. Blizzard unveiled the new cosmetics on the Overwatch site alongside a new trailer. The game developer put in a lot of work in this event and it will definitely pay off. Summer Games is one of the favorite events for players and there is no doubt that "Overwatch" fans will enjoy participating in it once again.

Numerous popular legendary skins, emotes and highlight intros are returning in the loot boxes, along with some new ones.

The rest of the skins in the gallery are returning from a year ago. However, three sprays have to be unlocked through achievements and one has to be unlocked by completing 10 competitive matches in Lucioball.

There will also be discounts for the returning items from last year's Summer Games, legendary skins can be purchased for 1,000 credits, epic skins for 250 credits, rare cosmetic items for 75 credits, and common cosmetic items for 25 credits.
